For the diehards, the faithful, the believers
The ones who show up for every game, rain or shine, and look cute AF doing it. For us, sports has always been the happy place. The best days smelled like sweat, grass, and orange slices. Years later we're still blowing off work calls for tennis courts and braving blizzards in the playoffs.
What we believe
Ride or die best friends
We both grew up on soccer fields. Kathy played center mid and captained her high school team (she still has the fake tooth from a goalie's boot). Shreena played forward and, in second grade, lost the league championship 1–0 to a team of older girls in pink. She cried the whole way home. First lesson in sports: they matter.
We met at Northwestern when a mutual friend picked us up for a night out in Evanston. Kathy had the front seat. Shreena opened the back door. First impressions were not great. A year later, we were inseparable, bonded by competitiveness and an aversion to the patriarchy.
Any Given Funday started on Etsy. Kathy was heading to Indian Wells with her tennis team and wanted tennis nail stickers for the trip. She couldn't find any great options. That night at the team's Airbnb, she designed the first tennis-themed sticker sheet. Then, she called Shreena, who had been mad about pink Cubs hats since childhood, to see if she wanted to work together. Shreena said yes before Kathy finished the sentence.
We were tired of pink
We've spent years walking into team stores wanting to spend money and walking out with nothing. Pink hats. Pink tees with the logo shrunk down. Pink is not the color of the Cubs. Pink is not the color of the Niners. We wanted to rep our teams from our heads to our toes, and yes, on our fingertips. When we couldn't find it, we built it.
We believe brawn and beauty go hand in hand. We can be ferocious and feminine. Savage and stunning. We can tip off with our tips on.
The roster
On any given day, anything can happen. We just think it should be fun.
